I find it odd that I stopped shipping Arwen once it became canon. I think it’s because Gwen seemed to become less of her own character, only “Arthur’s love interest”.

I don’t like the way Arwen is written on the show, but I can’t get enough of them in fanfiction. The fans should write the show!

S03E10, Queen of Hearts: when Arthur said ‘I will always love you’ to Gwen while she was being dragged away, my heart swelled. Their love for each other was like.. radiating from my screen. I almost cried. That’s saying something because I ship Merthur to the core.

I love the fact that Mithian was a flawless and lovable princess and I love Merlin’s promise to give her a chance, which he did by not advising Arthur to choose Gwen over her; he just offered a word of truth, that Gwen would sacrifice any thing for him and Camelot, something Merlin witnessed a day before. He even tried to escape the conversation by suggesting to retire when Arthur asked him “what to do?” All this made Arthur’s choice utterly his and his love for Guinevere the epitome of romanticism

The sexual tension between Arthur and Gwen is just unbearable, they must have proper sex scenes to relieve their aching desire in S5.

The more hate Guinevere/Angel gets the more I worship her and ship Arwen/Brangel. I can’t help it, she is just perfect! LONG LIVE TO THE QUEEN!

I won’t change anything about Merlin; neither the great and undying Merthur friendship nor the Arwen breathtaking love story and the fact that they are King & Queen now, even the Merlin/Lancelot’s and the Merlin/Gwaine’s closeness or Lancelot’s insane love for Guinevere, they are all beautiful; specially completed with the knights’ strong brotherhood. Merlin is just wonderful as it is; but maybe some Arwen sex scenes will make it PERFECT!

It would be wonderful to have a world without magic; a world in which Arthur, Gwen and their children can live in peace.

I love how Merlin is like the president of the Arthur/Gwen fan club. 

Guinevere looks so petite in Arthur’s arms! I love the huge size difference between them because it means that while they sleep together and completely naked on the royal bed, when the queen presses her bare back against her hubby’s nude torso, her cute little butt will be pressed right against his abdomen. A very stratigical spot!
