I think Morgana suddenly hates Gwen so much because that is the only way she knows how to deal with her love for her. It broke her heart when she chose Morgause over her and then again when she had a vision of Gwen’s coronation signifying Gwen has chosen Arthur. It’s bad enough to lose someone you love but to your own sibling? That shit stings.
